Whew, it has been awhile since I have blogged. But now I am getting to sleep through the night and getting up early to do a few things I enjoy with out little ones at my feet. I hope to blog more and more these days.
Let's see...what has been going on with us...? We just took our second trip to Dollywood this summer. It is such a kid friendly theme park. We just love it. And Lily can ride so many of the rides. I could just squeeze her to death when we ride the old timey cars. The cars are on a track system but it looks like the little ones are really driving you. They have oldies music playing in them and horns that blow. The car will be driving along and then look as if it is going to "run off the road". I'll say, "Lily turn turn turn!" As she gets this panic look on her face and grabs for the wheel. I just love seeing her driving and that little pony-tail in her hair blowing in the wind. She is growing up so fast and moments like those remind me how little she still is.
Laci likes Dollywood also, I think. She rides in style in the double stroller, with a sun hat on, and her love-love (homemade burp cloth that is just too cute for a baby to spit up on. It is so soft she has to have it now to sleep) up against her face. They have nursing rooms for us moms and that is so nice. I have to say, if it were not for those rooms to nurse her in private, we would not go as much as we do!
One more quick note. We had our first service in our new church building on Sunday. It was unreal!! God was there!!! Our new series is called Young Guns. And man it was such a great message!! God is wonderful!!!
